Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Butler County, Alabama. You will be based at a stone quarry. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence On the job you will handle: • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
