Join our team: we are hiring a rebar worker in Hopkins County, Kentucky. Day to day you will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
