Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Meade County, South Dakota. Day-to-day duties: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength Requirements: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
