Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a busy lift company. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring You will adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
