Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder spray gun operator in Brule County, South Dakota. The job is at a fabrication and coating plant. Requirements: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes The role involves hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
