Motor grader operator — City of Franklin

Immediate opening: we are hiring a motor grader operator in City of Franklin, Virginia. The job is at a road-building project. You will stockpile and spread material to the required levels; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Overtime paid at a premium rate.
