Horizontal milling machine operator — O'Brien County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in O'Brien County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Day-to-day duties: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $220 per day, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
