Great opportunity: we are hiring a metal caster in Mathews County, Virginia. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
