We are recruiting: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in City of Suffolk, Virginia. The job is on a residential building site. The role involves strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps; hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams; work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers; measure up and work out paint and material quantities. You should have: • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding Meals and transport allowance provided.
