Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Borough of Thurrock, England. On the job you will handle: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site You should have: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Rotating shifts. £18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
