Tube and fitting scaffolder — Somerset

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tube and fitting scaffolder in Somerset, England. You will be based on an industrial refinery shutdown. On the job you will handle: • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope Requirements: • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £2,050 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
