Now hiring: refrigeration installation technician (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in Edwards County, Texas. The job is at a food processing plant. On the job you will handle: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system Requirements: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints Full-time with occasional weekends.
