Elevator technician • Cheatham County, Tennessee

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator technician in Cheatham County, Tennessee. The job is on a lift modernisation project. Your main tasks: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
