Gas metal arc welder — Akamkpa

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Akamkpa, Cross River State. You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator 3+ years on the tools preferred.
