Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Woodson County, Kansas. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Your main tasks: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
