Now hiring: we are hiring a punch press operator in Rockingham County, North Carolina. The role involves: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards 2+ years on the tools preferred.
