You should have: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Day-to-day duties: • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels Six days a week, one day off.
