Gtaw welder • Upshur County, West Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Upshur County, West Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
