Rebar installer • Sarasota County, Florida

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar installer in Sarasota County, Florida. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level 1+ years on the tools preferred.
