Earthmoving equipment operator — Ballard County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Ballard County, Kentucky. You will be based on a dam or embankment job. Day-to-day duties: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
