The role involves select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Part-time with flexible hours.
