Excavator operator • Richmond County, North Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an excavator operator in Richmond County, North Carolina. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing On the job you will handle: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage Full-time with occasional weekends.
