Aluminium TIG welder • Bureau County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Bureau County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard 5+ years on the tools preferred.
