Now hiring: we are hiring a punch press operator in Humboldt County, California. You will work at a busy press shop. Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout The role involves: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Record output and downtime on the production sheet 2+ years on the tools preferred.
