Gas metal arc welder • Catron County, New Mexico

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Catron County, New Mexico. You will work on a structural steel site. Day to day you will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends.
