Incoming goods inspector • Ottawa County, Ohio

Immediate opening: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Ottawa County, Ohio. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing Day-to-day duties: • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation Six days a week, one day off.
