Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in City of Bristol, England. You will work on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day-to-day duties: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
