Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads Performance bonus on top of base pay.
