Great opportunity: we are hiring a container truck driver in Putnam County, Illinois. The job is at a haulage company. You will complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load. What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Confident with manual handling and load securing 3+ years on the tools preferred.
