Immediate opening: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Burnett County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a busy glazing workshop. On a typical shift you will secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; measure window and door openings and order glass to size. You should have: • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
