Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Lassen County, California. You will check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits.
