Join our team: we are hiring a panel welder in Humboldt County, California. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • ITI in welder trade or equivalent $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
