We are recruiting: we are hiring a cook in Breathitt County, Kentucky. The job is in a hospital or office canteen. Requirements: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards The role involves taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
