Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Richland County, Montana. You will work on a structural steel site. The role involves: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination 5+ years on the tools preferred.
