Join our team: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. You should have: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Understanding of hand and radio signals On the job you will handle: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Full-time with occasional weekends.
