Bike messenger wanted in Dumfries and Galloway

Now hiring: we are hiring a bike messenger in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. On the job you will handle: • Weave through heavy traffic while keeping to delivery time slots • Handle fragile and perishable items with care while riding • Call or message customers to confirm the address and drop-off point • Plan the fastest route using the delivery app and GPS navigation • Collect cash-on-delivery (COD) payments and reconcile the float at shift end • Update the delivery status (picked up, on the way, delivered) on the app in real time Ideal candidate: • Own motorcycle or scooter in roadworthy condition, or willingness to use a company bike • Basic reading and number skills to handle addresses and cash 4+ years on the tools preferred.
