Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Lavaca County, Texas. The job is on commercial and industrial sites. On a typical shift you will lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints. You should have: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Driving licence for travel between sites At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
