Cnc setter-operator • City of Poquoson, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in City of Poquoson, Virginia. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Day-to-day duties: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
