Great opportunity: horizontal milling machine operator (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in City of Chesapeake, Virginia. You will work at an automotive components factory. Your main tasks: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces 5+ years on the tools preferred.
