Building site helper • Jackson County, West Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a building site helper in Jackson County, West Virginia. You will work on a metro and infrastructure project. Requirements: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions On the job you will handle: • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
