Foundry worker • Brunswick County, North Carolina

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Brunswick County, North Carolina. You will be based on the moulding line. On the job you will handle: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Full-time, day shift.
