Join our team: we are hiring an excavator operator in Rockingham County, North Carolina. The job is at a road and highway construction project. Your main tasks: • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
