Crane rigger • Muskingum County, Ohio

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane rigger in Muskingum County, Ohio. You will be based at a busy construction site. You will fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
