Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Your main tasks: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
