Machinist wanted in Edwards County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a machinist in Edwards County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $5,750 per project plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
