Urgent requirement: fabricator-welder (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Dallas County, Iowa. The role involves: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols 5+ years on the tools preferred.
