Vacancy available: fire and safety officer (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Bradford, England. You will work at a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
