MIG welder wanted in Pepin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Pepin County, Wisconsin. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Day-to-day duties: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc 5+ years on the tools preferred. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
