Thermal insulation technician — Southampton

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Southampton, England. Day to day you will wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding 5+ years on the tools preferred.
