Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar installer in Martin County, Indiana. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Full-time with occasional weekends. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
